Candidates taking this module will be taught how to use a database application (Microsoft Access) to produce advanced databases.

Introduction


ECDL Advance logoThis module teaches the candidate the ability to operate a database package effectively at more than a basic level of competence and to be able to realise much of the potential of the application. The candidate shall also learn to use the database to organise, extract, view and report on data using advanced data management skills, and will come to understand the variety of ways that data can be related and organised. Additionally, the candidate shall be able to run and record simple macros and to import, export and link data.

Course Content


On successful completion of this module you will gain an ECDL Advanced Certificate in Databases, awarded by the British Computer Society.
Advanced certification demonstrates your higher level computer skills; you can show employers that you are confident, competent and efficient in this application.

A 60 minute assessment that reviews your skills and knowledge of the application.
