Introduction Candidates taking this module will be taught how to use a presentation application (Microsoft Powerpoint) to produce advanced presentations.
Course Content ECDL Advanced logoThis module teaches the candidate the understanding of some of the principle areas to consider when planning and designing presentations, as well as the ability to operate a presentation package effectively at more than a basic level of competence and to use the presentation application to produce advanced presentations. The candidate shall be able to realise much of the potential of the presentation tool and produce outputs using advanced formatting and layout techniques and the use of multimedia effects. The candidate shall also learn to create advanced charts/graphs, to enhance the presentation by using drawing and image tools to modify drawn objects and images, and to create and use macros within the presentation application.
Career Prospects On successful completion of this module you will gain an ECDL Advanced Certificate in Presentations, awarded by the British Computer Society.
Advanced certification demonstrates your higher level computer skills; you can show employers that you are confident, competent and efficient in this application.
Assessments A 60 minute assessment that reviews your skills and knowledge of the application.
