Introduction Candidates taking this module will be taught how to use a spreadsheet application (Microsoft Excel) to produce advanced spreadsheets.
Course Content ECDL Advanced logoThis module teaches the candidate the ability to operate a spreadsheet package effectively at more than a basic level of competence and to edit and enhance numeric, text and graphical data, to sort, query and link data, and to carry out advanced formatting and presentation operations on charts and graphs. The candidate shall also learn to use functions associated with logical, statistical and mathematical operations, to use available analysis and audit tools, and to run and record simple macros.
Career Prospects On successful completion of this module you will gain an ECDL Advanced Certificate in Spreadsheets, awarded by the British Computer Society.
Advanced certification demonstrates your higher level computer skills; you can show employers that you are confident, competent and efficient in this application.
Assessments A 60 minute assessment that reviews your skills and knowledge of the application.
