| Introduction |
Candidates taking module 3 will be taught how to use a word processing package (Microsoft Word) to create, format, and finish documents ready for distribution. |
| Course Content |
This module teaches the candidate the ability to accomplish the everyday tasks associated with using a word processing application. The candidate shall also learn to duplicate and move text within and between documents, and gain competence in using some of the features associated with word processing applications such as creating standard tables, using pictures and images within a document, and using mail merge tools. |
| Career Prospects |
On completion of all seven modules you will gain the ECDL Certificate, awarded by the British Computer Society (BCS). This internationally recognised qualification demonstrates to employers that you are fully competent in the use of a personal computer and common computer applications, and that you know the essential concepts of Information Technology. |
