| Introduction |
Candidates taking module 5 will be taught some of the main concepts of databases and the ability to use a database application (Microsoft Access). |
| Course Content |
This module teaches the candidate the understanding and ability to create and modify tables, queries, forms and reports, and to prepare outputs ready for distribution. The candidate shall be able to relate tables and to retrieve and manipulate information from a database by using query and sort tools. |
| Career Prospects |
On completion of all seven modules you will gain the ECDL Certificate, awarded by the British Computer Society (BCS). This internationally recognised qualification demonstrates to employers that you are fully competent in the use of a personal computer and common computer applications, and that you know the essential concepts of Information Technology. |
