| Introduction |
Candidates taking module 7 will be taught the concepts and common tasks associated with using the Internet and email, and to appreciate some of the security considerations. |
| Course Content |
In addition to learning some of the concepts, terms, and security considerations of using the internet and email, the candidate will learn to accomplish common Web search tasks, to bookmark Web sites, and to print Web pages and search results. The candidate shall also learn to send and receive email messages, to attach files to emails, and to organise and manage message folders. |
| Career Prospects |
On completion of all seven modules you will gain the ECDL Certificate, awarded by the British Computer Society (BCS). This internationally recognised qualification demonstrates to employers that you are fully competent in the use of a personal computer and common computer applications, and that you know the essential concepts of Information Technology. |
