ECDL Advanced – Overview

If you have completed your ECDL and want to progress your skills, or if you are already a 'power user' seeking certification, ECDL Advanced is the qualification for you.
Introduction
ECDL Advanced gives Candidates the opportunity to become expert in the use of a range of applications, acquiring skills sets over and above the routine features of the software, in order that they may become capable of confidently exploiting the full potential of the applications and expert at producing attractive, professional-quality outputs.
ECDL Advanced is comprised of four modules. These modules are: word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentations.
Course Content
Each Advanced module has been designed as a standalone certification, and Candidates who successfully complete a module will be certified as Advanced users in that application.
If you complete all of the ECDL Advanced modules, you will receive an additional ECDL Expert certificate showing that you are a specialist in a range of computer applications.
As an ECDL Expert, you will be eligible to become an Associate member of the British Computer Society.
Career Prospects
Each module is assessed with a 60 minute assessment that reviews your skills and knowledge of the computer application and how to use it.
